Established in 1977 Burgin Limited is a fully integrated Mechanical and Electrical provider of all HVAC and associated services. The company operates throughout England with all activities controlled and monitored through our Colchester, Essex Headquarters.Planned Preventative Maintenance for clients of all sizes and professions, including reactive call out and repairs, small works and emergency breakdown cover. With more than 500 individual properties currently being looked after, we have the infrastructure to support any size and level of support required when it comes to HVAC maintenance requests.

All Contracted customers have access to our services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Burgin engineers are fully qualified in their field, drive fully equipped liveried service vehicles and all use handheld PDA devices to enable real time exchange of information and reports with our customer support centre.

Mechanical and Electrical Design and Installation is taken on by our in-house contracting team, who are fully experienced in the running and organising of fast track installation and refurbishment work. Our staff are capable of carrying out the full design required on projects either working from the clients design brief or recommending and preparing a design from their own expertise and recognised design standards. The very latest Hevacomp and AutoCAD design software support the experienced Burgin in-house design team. A programme of works is issued and agreed with the customer prior to our commencement on site. Throughout the project the customer will be kept informed of the progress on site, variation and cost changes. The success of any project will be dependent on the design and installation teams working closely together.

Each installation project has an assigned project engineer who will provide the link between our on-site installation engineers and the customer (be-it an end-user or main contractor; our supported infrastructure ensures quality of service at every level).

Burgin provides full electrical design, installation and maintenance services for a broad range of clients. Our delivery of work stem from a single commercial unit requiring regular maintenance on lighting and fixed wire installations to a large industrial project for a main contractor requiring full design and installation of Fire Alarms, Power, Lighting Data networking & Cabling.

We are members of the NICEIC and CHAS accredited, with all work undertaken strictly in accordance with the current Electrical Engineering Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and Health and Safety laws. Each of our employed engineers are suitably qualified, with our electrical contracting team holding a wealth of experience to ensure safe and efficient delivery on contracts of all levels.Typical works include, but not limited to:Power,Structured cabling and data networks,Lighting & Lighting control,Alterations to existing circuits,New electrical installations,Testing and Inspection – Periodic Inspection Reports,Maintenance contracts for general and emergency lighting,Fire Alarm systems installed and maintained to BS5839, External Lighting design and installation.

Burgin has been carrying out domestic and commercial heating services since 1977. With this experience, we have the capacity and knowledge to take on all forms of old and modern day heating equipment. We provide full heating design, installation and maintenance services; along with the in-house capabilities to take on a broad range or project and contract requirements, therefore assuring both end-users and main contractors of a competent and professional delivery of works.

All Burgin heating engineers are Gas Safe registered, currently providing maintenance services to in excess of 500 commercial properties in the South East of England. Additionally, Burgin’s suitably qualified design and installation team are managing an extensive portfolio for both end users and main contractors across London and the Home Counties.Typical works include, but not limited to:,Gas, Oil & Steam Boilers inclusive of pumps, controls, valves etc, Oil & Gas Burners,Gas Booster Sets, Calorifiers, Pressurisation Units and Hot Water Tanks,Heat Emitters & Under-floor Heating Systems, Plate Heat Exchangers,Compressors and Air Dryers,Vacuum Systems,Pipework and Insulation.
